Self Discovery

Welcome back,
Guys in my last post we have discussed Personal Development.

Today discuss self discovery that is What personality do you hold. Today many people do not know which personality type they are. They don't consider them for any of their professional or career choices.

Today we discuss about various personality type and how they influence your career path.

You might have heard people referring themselves as

Extrovert
or
Introvert

These two types were first described by Carl Jung. He developed a theory according to which each person has its own personality type.

According to him those who see everything in terms of objective are Extrovert. While those who see the things from the perspective of their own situations are Introverts.

Extroverts like actions while Introverts like to observe and consider their actions carefully.

Extroverts recharge and get energy from spending time with other people; while Introverts recharge and gets energy from spending time alone.

The important thing to remember is that either you are Extrovert which focus on people and objects or you are Introvert which depends on ideas and concepts.

According to the theory beside the personality type there are our mental functions for how we perceive and judge our surroundings. They are defined as:

Thinking
Feeling
Intuition
Sensation

They are essential as not every thing is black and white.

Between those two types of personality there are sixteen possible combinations or mixed types.

Now the question is how to find out which of these combination you belong to?

You should think about the following questions to find the answer
  1. how you prefer to take in information?
  2. How you prefer to make decisions?
  3. How do you prefer to live your outer life?

When you leave your institution and go out looking for a job and finding your career you will find the term C.V. quite a lot. sadly some institutions are so focused on your academic performance that they forget to prepare you for the big wide world of work. Many students are unaware of how to write a good C.V. A good C.V. reflects the soul of your past experiences. You might have experience in different field which are important to you. Remember don't use same C.V. for different job opportunities. Rather try to elaborate only those parts of your experiences which are relevant to the job you are applying for. You can search for the details of job on their websites, twitter accounts, etc. Study the job requirement and prepare your C.V. accordingly. Your C.V. should be tr

Now, when you are aware of what personal values are and how you can do self development. Let's move on to the world around you. Think on about the people around you. Such as your neighbors, friends, Old people playing chess in garden, and so many. What you can do for them? What you can do for your Community?  What do we understand by the term community? There are many definitions of term community in various different dictionaries. In general the term community is defined as "A group of people that live in the same area but are also united because of the same interest, religion or may be any other social feature".
